One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for an Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to hold a senior key role within a team responsible for approximately £65 million in long-term sustainable income annually. The programme has seen significant growth and success through recent DRTV and digital campaigns, along with detailed supporter journey planning.

As Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising, you will leverage your extensive expertise in all aspects of Legacy and In Memory fundraising and team management to drive key activities and stewardship. Our team is growing and ambitious, backed by a well-known and respected charity brand.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience in Legacy and In Memory fundraising with detailed marketplace knowledge
• Proven success in strategic planning, management, and implementation
• Strong project, budget, and supplier management skills
• Excellent leadership and team-building abilities with experience managing high-performing teams
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence at a senior level
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to find solutions and improve processes
