Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced General Manager Facilities to lead the Trust's Facilities and Soft FM across Wexham Park Hospital, the CDC, Heatherwood Hospital and community sites. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑focused services that meet NHS standards.

Key duties include overall management of Catering, Domestic, Portering, Security, Linen, Waste, Pest Control and Window Cleaning, driving service

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing large multidisciplinary Facilities or Hotel Services teams.
• Knowledge of NHS standards, regulations, and best practice relevant to Facilities Services.
• Experience of successfully managing change within a large and diverse workforce.
• Evidence of strategic and business planning, policy development, reporting, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Leading Catering, Domestic, Portering, Security, Linen & Laundry, Waste Management, Pest Control and Window Cleaning services across multiple sites.
• Developing and implementing strategic and operational service plans.
• Monitoring performance against key performance indicators and quality standards.
• Driving service transformation, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, NHS guidance and regulatory requirements.
• Managing complex budgets and delivering financial targets, including Cost Improvement Programmes (CIPs).
• Leading workforce development, recruitment, retention and engagement activities.
• Supporting business case development and major Trust projects.
