Chiswick Nursing Centre in Greater London is seeking a Head of Facilities to lead all non-clinical services and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
You will oversee Estates, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry and Catering, and play a key role in achieving KPIs and improving resident experience. Strong knowledge of health and safety and CQC requirements is essential.
The Head of Facilities is a senior member of the Centre Management Team and is responsible for the effective leadership, management and oversight of the Centre’s facilities and non-clinical support services, including Estates and Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry and Catering.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the postholder will contribute to the overall operational and commercial performance of the Centre, achievement of agreed KPIs and the continuous improvement of resident experience and service quality.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in facilities management, estates, catering, housekeeping or related support services, preferably within a nursing, health or social care environment, have good knowledge of health and safety legislation and statutory requirements relevant to a large residential healthcare environment. Experience in understanding of CQC regulations relevant to the role, including requirements relating to safe care and treatment, premises and equipment and good governance are essential.
