Job summary

RunThrough is hiring a Head of Supply to lead workforce, logistics, vendors and procurement for 300+ annual events in the UK. Based in Manchester or Hersham, you will build and scale the supply function, recruit and train staff, and partner with the Events team to deliver exceptional races.

You'll report to the COO, define processes, integrate data/AI for efficiency, and ensure events run on time and on budget. Excellent leadership and strategic vision are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading operations or supply for live events.
• Proven experience managing and developing a team of managers.
• Logistics experience or the ability to pick it up quickly.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers or procurement.
• Strong problem-solving: trace a problem to its cause and fix the process behind it.
• Confident working with directors and senior leaders, and a clear communicator.
• Comfortable building something new and defining the processes yourself.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the supply team across workforce, logistics, vendors and suppliers, procurement and event services.
• Design and document the processes that get every event supplied from pre-planning to debrief.
• Own staffing, logistics and vendor processes and refine them when issues arise.
• Work with the tech team to build/work on workforce and supply platforms using data/AI.
• Make sure every event has the people, kit, vendors and supplies on time and on budget.
• Oversee workforce planning for full-time/part-time crew, marshals and volunteers.
• Oversee logistics and warehouse operations across regional hubs.
• Oversee vendor selection, tendering and procurement processes.
• Resolve root causes when something goes wrong outside the events team.
• Partner with Directors and project managers so events focus on delivery.
• Attend events during training and around six per year after that.
• Set and track KPIs for supply performance and report to the COO.
• Manage the supply budget and protect event margin.
