Job summary

M&D Care is seeking a Head of Estates to lead strategic management and development of the property portfolio across South and West Wales. You will ensure buildings are safe, compliant, sustainable, and fit for purpose now and in the future.

Working with senior leaders, contractors, and external stakeholders, you will deliver an estates strategy, manage budgets, drive capital projects, and maintain high-quality environments to support outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Extensive Estates and Facilities management experience within a multi-site organisation.
• Knowledge of property compliance, health and safety, and facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Estates and Facilities Strategy.
• Lead and manage the Estates team and maintenance programmes.
• Procure, negotiate and manage contracts and supplier relationships.
• Oversee all buildings, grounds, and fleet management across locations.
• Monitor compliance, risks, and reporting for governance and safety.
• Lead capital investment programmes and estate development projects.
