Job summary
North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Head of Estates to lead the operational management and strategic development of the Trust's estate. You will oversee maintenance, compliance and capital projects, ensuring buildings are fit for purpose and meet statutory requirements while supporting patient care and organisational goals.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Estates, you will inspire Estates teams, drive service improvement, and deputise in senior meetings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex Estates/maintenance teams and projects.
- Experience in managing large budgets and tailoring service delivery.
- Delivery of reactive, planned and preventative maintenance with high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Leading Estates operations, maintenance and compliance programmes.
- Managing major capital and infrastructure projects.
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance across the estate.
- Developing policies, service standards and performance measures.
- Leading and developing Estates managers and wider teams.
- Managing performance and ensuring value for money.
- Supporting organisational change programmes and strategic objectives.
