Job summary
Carnival UK seeks a Senior Manager, Head of Engineering Standards and DevOps to lead the Engineering and DevOps Centre of Excellence, overseeing engineering capability and building a community of practice across DTO. Define standards, DevOps requirements, and CI/CD strategy for in-house and outsourced teams.
You will champion modern engineering practices, automation and cloud-native delivery, ensuring quality governance across DTO and partner teams.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading software engineering teams in a complex enterprise.
- Proven ability to establish engineering standards and governance.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD, automation, observability and cloud-native delivery.
- Degree in CS/Software Eng/IT or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering and DevOps Centre of Excellence.
- Define engineering standards, coding practices and DevOps requirements for in-house and outsourced teams.
- Own the CI/CD pipeline strategy and platform tooling, integrating security, testing and observability into the developer experience.
- Govern technical quality across DTO while driving adoption of modern practices, automation and cloud-native capabilities.
