Job summary

Carnival UK is seeking a Director, Platform CoE to steer the technology direction across our ships and head office. You will lead Engineering, Test and Design Centres of Excellence, set standards, and define the shared platform engineering strategy to enable fast, high-quality delivery.

You will build capability through communities of practice, governance, and scalable practices while balancing enablement with enforcement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading engineering, testing, quality engineering or design functions.
• Proven track record establishing centres of excellence and enterprise standards.
• Deep expertise in communities of practice, tooling and governance.
• Degree-level qualification in CS/Tech/Engineering/Design or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering, Test and Design Centres of Excellence and set standards.
• Define and own the shared platform engineering strategy.
• Build capability across engineering, testing and design through communities of practice.
• Optimize CoE capacity and performance using data-driven feedback.
