Zusammenfassung

Spendesk is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead a 20–30 person multi-disciplinary team across Europe. You will set technical direction, build a leadership team, and be accountable for economics, reliability, and delivery pace of everything the group ships.

You'll partner with Product, Design, Data, and other senior leaders to align on strategy, hiring, and cross-team initiatives. London-based with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in software engineering with growing scope and impact.
• 3+ years managing managers (EMs, Staff Engineers).
• Fintech, payments, or compliance experience is a strong plus.

Aufgaben

• Define multi-quarter technical and organisational strategy aligned with Spendesk.
• Drive architecture decisions and platformisation to reduce debt.
• Own group economics: cost-to-serve and infra efficiency with quarterly view.
• Build and sustain a strong leadership team of EMs, Senior EMs, and Staff Engineers.
• Represent Engineering in cross-functional forums and defend roadmap to leadership.
