Job summary

By Association Only (BAO) in the UK is seeking a senior commercial leader to own new business through consultative conversations with ambitious eCommerce brands, focusing on Shopify and digital delivery rather than hard selling.

You will shape discoveries, proposals and pitch decks, work with cross-functional teams, and represent BAO at industry events, helping win high-quality projects while respecting brand and delivery realities.

Qualifications

Experience in new business, sales or consultancy within eCommerce or agency environments.
Meaningful understanding of Shopify, UX/UI, data and integrations.
Ability to translate conversations into written commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

New business ownership: qualify, prioritise and progress opportunities.
Technical scoping: shape replatforming approaches and architecture considerations.
Proposal, deck and RFP development with internal teams.
Sales reporting and opportunity intelligence to stakeholders.
Contact database and targeted outbound activity with quality over volume.
Agency representation at industry events and client meetings.
Ambassador for BAO in external engagements.
