Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong CAD skills with AVA, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Premium home textiles experience, especially bedding and bathroom.
• Educated to degree level; strong design acumen.
• Willingness to travel globally for supplier visits and fairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small design team and work hands-on with product development.
• Collaborate with Head of Product and directors to ensure bulk production.
• Source fabrics via suppliers and global trade fairs.
• Dress trade shows and showrooms in the UK and abroad.
• Provide CADs for packaging requirements like inserts and care labels.
• Create compelling bedding and bathroom designs and colourways.
• Present confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop exclusive designs with key customers within their briefs and timelines.
• Develop the brand portfolio for the UK and export markets.
• Follow design trends and translate them into actionable resources.
• Brief suppliers to produce samples to exact specifications.
• Manage sample development and approve factory submissions.
• Maintain knowledge of new design and production techniques.
