Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates is recruiting a Head of Design for premium home textiles (bedding and bathroom). The role is hands-on and leads a small team, collaborating with Head of Product and directors to drive bulk production and a growing portfolio for UK and export markets.

You will source fabrics, attend global trade fairs, dress showrooms, and present concepts to retailers such as John Lewis and Harrods. A strong CAD background and fashion-forward color sense are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in home textiles, premium bedding and bathroom.
• Hands-on in current role with leadership of a small team.
• Experience in premium brand textiles and working with retailers.

Responsibilities

• Work with retailers such as John Lewis and Harrods.
• Lead a small design team and collaborate with Head of Product/ directors on bulk production.
• Develop and grow home textile portfolio for UK and export markets.
• Source fabrics and techniques through suppliers and global trade fairs.
• Dress trade shows/showrooms in the UK and abroad.
• Provide CADs for packaging requirements and assist marketing with design inspiration.
• Present concepts to customers and internal stakeholders; manage exclusive designs.
• Ensure designs align with timelines and approve factory submissions.
