Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates seeks a Head of Design for premium bedding and bathroom textiles. The role is hands-on, manages a small team and works with retailers like John Lewis and Harrods to grow a profitable home textiles portfolio. You will source fabrics, develop CAD designs, and present concepts across UK and export markets.

The candidate will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure timely bulk production, trend adaptation, and interactive showrooms. Travel globally is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in home textiles, particularly premium bedding and bathroom.
• Hands-on leadership with experience managing a small team.
• Strong CAD skills (AVA) and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to brief and influence customers.
• Willingness to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects for bedding and bathroom ranges in UK and export markets.
• Collaborate with Head of Product and directors to align production timelines.
• Source fabrics and drive samples from overseas suppliers.
• Present concepts to retailers and internal stakeholders with CAD visuals.
• Dress trade shows, dressrooms, and create compelling product copy with inspiration.
