Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates in Manchester is seeking a Head of Design to lead premium bedding and bathroom collections. The role is hands-on, managing a small design team and collaborating with directors to ensure efficient bulk production.

You will source fabrics, develop trends, dress trade shows, and present concepts to customers including major retailers such as John Lewis and Harrods; travel globally to supplier visits and fairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in premium home textiles (bedding and bathroom).
• Hands-on leadership experience with a small team.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to create CADs.
• Experience with supplier visits and global trade fairs.
• Proven ability to present to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for bedding and bathroom collections.
• Collaborate with Head of Product and directors on bulk production.
• Source fabrics and manage supplier relationships.
• Dress trade shows and showrooms in the UK and abroad.
• Develop brand portfolio for UK and export markets.
• Create compelling trend resources and colorways.
• Provide CADs for packaging and care labels.
