Job summary

Capital One Europe plc is seeking a Head of Data Management in the UK to lead a team of Data Stewards and Management professionals. The role focuses on governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance, spanning Nottingham and London offices with hybrid working.

You will drive a data management strategy, foster collaboration with senior leaders, and ensure data is discoverable and of high quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data stewardship, governance, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• Experience in data stewardship, governance and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of data policies and regulation (e.g. GDPR).
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing data management team.
• Experience with data architecture, data quality frameworks and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 12 for stewardship and governance of data in Capital One UK.
• Develop data quality metrics and governance frameworks.
• Drive regulatory compliance and data policy adherence across the organisation.
• Oversee end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to archiving.
• Promote data-driven decision making and collaboration with enterprise partners.
