Cencora Alliance Healthcare UK is seeking an experienced Data Leader to shape and deliver the data and analytics capability during a major transformation. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, focusing on Azure, Databricks and Power BI, and guiding the organization through legacy migration and data governance improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Significant senior experience leading data, analytics or technology delivery in large, complex organisations.
• Proven experience managing a significant budget including forecasting and cost control.
• Proven ability to develop and communicate a strategic data or technology roadmap.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Deep understanding of data platforms, governance and analytics applications.
• Practical knowledge of AI/machine learning governance and risk considerations.
• Experience delivering in fast-moving environments, including cloud migration or legacy modernization.

Aufgaben

• Define and own a multi-year Data & Analytics roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Translate strategy into a prioritized, sequenced, costed initiative portfolio with milestones.
• Advise senior leaders on data/AI trends and platform direction.
• Balance near-term legacy migration with long-term capability building.
• Own end-to-end delivery of data products aligned to strategy.
• Oversee planning, prioritisation and execution across multiple business areas.
• Establish delivery standards and clear timelines; monitor progress and address risks.
• Lead transition from legacy systems (Cognos, Oracle, Qlik) to Azure, Databricks and Power BI with decommissioning plans.
• Mature Data Quality with proactive monitoring, ownership and measurable standards.
• Link data initiatives to strategic priorities; track benefits and adapt as needed.
• Manage Data & Analytics budget, forecast and cloud cost control.
