Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Data Technical Lead in the UK with hybrid working options. The role leads the Care Services data product portfolio, steering data and analytics strategy across Azure, Snowflake and Power BI.

You will partner with product managers and squads to deliver scalable, secure, governed solutions that meet business outcomes. The successful candidate has extensive experience in large-scale data projects, strong leadership, and a passion for AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex data and analytics solutions within large-scale organisations.
• Experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams, products or domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and analytics ecosystems.
• Experience working with Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, GCP and associated modern data technologies.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, semantic modelling, metrics design and analytical product development.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and technical roadmap across the Care Services data product portfolio.
• Partner with Senior Product Managers to balance customer needs, business outcomes and platform evolution.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple squads, ensuring consistency of approach.
• Act as the technical authority for complex data product design decisions.
• Establish and maintain standards, frameworks and best practices across the data product estate.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering and analytics practices across Azure, Snowflake, Power BI and related technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Leads, Engineers and Analysts to support product delivery.
• Manage technical dependencies across multiple products and squads.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, ML, Generative AI and advanced analytics to improve outcomes.
