Job summary

The Fragrance Shop is recruiting a Head of Data & AI in the UK to lead its data, analytics and automation journey. You will set the data strategy, own the data platform (Snowflake, Azure, reporting) and build a high‑performing Data team across data engineering, analytics, data science and AI initiatives.

You will translate business needs into scalable data products and measurable outcomes. You will partner with executives to define KPIs, governance, and standards, ensuring secure, trusted data

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large data teams and cross‑functional impact.
• Strategy and governance for data platforms, analytics and AI.
• Hands‑on capability in SQL and Python; guide engineering decisions.
• Experience designing data warehouses, pipelines and BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead multi‑year data, analytics, AI and automation strategy.
• Grow the Data team and define ownership, standards and pathways.
• Own the data platform (Azure, Snowflake, reporting) and migrations.
• Balance BAU delivery with strategic transformation and data products.
• Lead data governance, security and compliance across the estate.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and business value.
• Drive proactive insight, forecasting and decision support.
