Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the data path from retailer data arrival through to the reports used by head offices. You will collaborate with data engineering, data science, analytics, customer success and retailers to build data products that drive real business impact.

You will shape priorities as we roll out to hundreds of stores, participate in engineering design discussions, and be hands-on with numbers to validate results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management on technical data products.
• Depth to reason about APIs, data pipelines and system boundaries.
• Experience serving enterprise customers and interfacing with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on SQL and ability to answer data questions.
• Fluency with analytics/BI tools and dashboards.
• Ownership of end-to-end product roadmaps and shipped artifacts.
• Ability to influence engineering and commercial partners.
• Comfort with remote-first, distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Own product direction for the full data path from data arrival to reports.
• Own data ingestion for imports, planograms, store metadata and cut-off configuration.
• Own outputs: metrics, reporting APIs, insight agents, dashboards used by head office.
• Run discovery with retailers and translate learnings into a product.
• Ship features and measure adoption and usage.
• Automate work with AI and share成果 with the product team.
