Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a visionary Chief Data and Analytics Officer to unite analytics, reporting, coding and data quality under one Health Intelligence function. You will steer AI, predictive modelling and real‑world data initiatives for two Trusts, guiding two hospitals, 11,500 staff and 900,000 residents.

You will build the team, platforms and culture to drive data‑led decision making, across the organisation and with external partners, ensuring high quality

Qualifications

• Masters level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Member of a relevant professional body.
• Experience with project and programme management methods (e.g., Prince2).
• Post-graduate qualification in statistics, economics, operational research or related area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, security and lifecycle of data across Trust systems.
• Define roadmap and implement data platforms, tools and capabilities to lead real-world data uses.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory/regulatory data returns and update policies.
• Support research, innovation and academic partnerships with high-quality data.
• Lead advanced analytics capabilities including AI and predictive modelling.
• Champion data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the Trust.
• Drive innovation through Federated Data Platform incubator work.
• Provide leadership and line management to high-performing teams.
• Collaborate with partners to enable secure, ethical data sharing.
