Job summary

Barts Charity, East London's oldest healthcare charity, is creating its first Head of Data role to lead the data function and deliver a 2027-2032 strategy. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own data architecture, governance and cross-system integration, while building a high-performing team and shaping responsible AI and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering data strategy and culture change.
• Deep experience with data architecture, integration and governance.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Fabric or Salesforce data platforms.
• Experience in charity/public sector/health organisations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the data architecture and data integration across core systems.
• Set up data governance and quality standards.
• Grow data function and build a team over time.
• Lay foundations for responsible AI, automation and advanced analytics.
