Job summary

LJ Recruitment in Derby seeks a Head of Customer Success to own the employer and apprentice journey, lead the sales function and drive growth. You will build strong employer relationships, improve retention and ensure an excellent customer experience from enquiry to progression.

You will report to the CEO and lead a small commercial team covering business development, marketing and customer engagement, with dedicated office space to grow the function.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in apprenticeship and/or commercial training sales.
• Experience in business development and account growth.
• Experience winning tenders and bids.
• Strong employer/customer relationships and pipeline management.
• Leadership, coaching and developing sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Grow apprenticeship and commercial training sales.
• Build and maintain employer relationships.
• Win new business through tenders, bids and commercial opportunities.
• Convert qualified opportunities into learner starts.
• Lead, coach and develop the sales team.
• Own the customer journey from enquiry through onboarding, completion and progression.
• Manage escalations, complaints and service recovery.
