Anglian Water Services Ltd is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead the commercial performance of a £2bn+ infrastructure portfolio. The role requires strategic governance, risk management and leadership across major projects and their supply chain, reporting to the Major Infrastructure Delivery Commercial Director.

This senior position offers hybrid working flexibility in Peterborough and site-based presence, with a broad benefits package and incentive schemes awaiting the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level commercial leadership experience within complex infrastructure, utilities, engineering or construction environments.
• Proven experience delivering major capital projects and design-and-build programmes.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial strategy development.
• Experience leading commercial teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership across Major Infrastructure Delivery programmes with governance and control of performance.
• Oversee procurement and supply chain governance across Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners.
• Lead commercial risk management and proactive resolution of disputes and contractual matters.
• Drive cost estimation, forecasting, reporting and financial controls to support decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop high-performing commercial teams and foster continuous improvement.
