Job Purpose:
Following sustained growth over the last 5 years, we require a Head of Business Development to drive sales and marketing activities aligned with our key business objectives. The role involves developing and overseeing our commercial strategy, working with Directors to prioritize and execute projects to facilitate growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Directors to develop our commercial strategy to surpass growth targets.
- Lead the business development team to increase leads, improve lead conversion, and manage pipelines to achieve income growth across our portfolio.
- Drive income growth by leveraging market, industry, and economic opportunities in line with targets, budgets, and KPIs.
- Promote innovation and thought leadership through research, insights, and active participation in sector discussions and interest groups.
- Represent PARCOR externally via presentations and speaking engagements; network and build stakeholder relationships.
- Create and manage social media strategies and campaigns; support content creation to position PARCOR as a thought leader.
- Research and secure new business tenders, frameworks, DPS, and accreditations.
- Organize and coordinate business and social events.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing our corporate brand.
- Coordinate with teams and departments to steer business development and sector penetration strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Coach and manage team members to drive income growth, ensuring effective lead generation and progression.
- Develop market and sector knowledge aligned with client needs.
- Participate in senior management meetings, contribute to organizational strategy, and be involved in project teams and internal consultancy.
- Collaborate with other departments on new product and service launches and articulate our value proposition clearly.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related fields.
- An MBA or equivalent business qualification.
- Experience in Social Housing, Surveying, and Retrofit sectors.
- Strong branding capabilities.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
- Proactive in identifying new marketing and business opportunities.
- Proven track record in sales, pipeline management, and income growth.
- Understanding of sales processes and sector networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, questioning, listening, and communication skills.
- Effective time management and leadership abilities.
- Relationship-building experience.
