Job summary

Breath HR is seeking a Manufacturing Director to lead the establishment and operational management of a high-performance battery pack manufacturing business in the UK. This senior role involves building the manufacturing organization, driving the transition from prototype to production, and shaping company strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, particularly in battery systems, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and compliance. Flexibility for remote work and a team-focused environment are key parts of the company culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of battery pack manufacturing processes.
• Experience with high-voltage systems and associated safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and commissioning of a new battery pack manufacturing facility.
• Recruit and develop a multidisciplinary manufacturing team.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations including prototype builds and serial manufacture.
