Job summary

Breath HR in the United Kingdom seeks a Build Technician to support the assembly, integration, testing and inspection of prototype, development and early production products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with hazardous voltage electrical systems, follow safe systems of work, maintain traceability and safety documentation, and contribute to manufacturing programmes while developing technical skills and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S improvements.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship, NVQ, technical qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, assembly, engineering or production environments.
• Experience with safety-critical procedures and hazardous voltage awareness.
• Ability to interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
• Support prototype, development and production build activities.
• Complete production documentation and records accurately.
• Follow quality, safety and lean manufacturing procedures.
• Contribute to manufacturing capability, equipment setup and validation.
• Record build and test results and escalate concerns promptly.
