Job summary

Breathe Battery Technologies in London is seeking a Technical Sales / Business Development specialist to grow our testing and validation services. You will work with the Co-Founders and Head of Testing to turn customer needs into scoped programmes across cell development and safety testing.

You will lead technical discovery with engineering teams, translate insights into proposals, and build a qualified pipeline against available capacity in a fast-growing, hybrid-friendly environment that

Qualifications

• Experience in cell characterisation and safety testing for services.
• Background in technical sales or business development in contract testing.
• Ability to convert discovery with engineers into scoped programs.
• Engineering degree required.
• Familiarity with OEM and supplier qualification processes.
• ISO/IEC 17025 familiarity advantageous.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customer engineering teams and data needs.
• Translate findings into scoped test and validation programs.
• Collaborate with Head of Testing on proposals and statements of work.
• Analyze market segments, pricing, and competitors.
