Job summary

Breath HR in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Build Technician to lead advanced assembly, integration and testing of prototype to early production products. You will work with engineers to develop manufacturing methods, tooling and documentation while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on expertise in hazardous voltage systems and energy storage, plus the ability to troubleshoot and mentor others in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Experience with hazardous voltage systems and energy storage.
• Strong engineering skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly, integration and testing per docs and quality standards.
• Support prototype, development and industrialisation build programmes.
• Maintain production records, test documentation and traceability.
• Ensure safety and quality in all manufacturing activities.
• Assist material handling, inventory and production readiness tasks.
• Provide technical guidance to Build Technicians.
