Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Head of Technical - Batteries/Power to lead the technical team across the UK, developing a strong design-in pipeline and driving growth in batteries and power technologies.

You will act as the technical expert, set KPIs, manage supplier relationships, work with Sales and customers through the design cycle, and report progress to SMT and Board. This is a senior role requiring both technical depth and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in batteries or power electronics.
• Proven ability to design-in electronic components/products.
• Experience in franchise or electronic component distribution is desirable.
• Experience leading technical and/or sales teams.
• Strong commercial skills to drive revenue and design wins.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the technical team with KPIs and drive performance.
• Develop a sustainable pipeline of design opportunities into wins.
• Act as the technical expert across batteries and power technologies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management and suppliers to Convert opportunities.
• Provide technical support through customer design cycles from eval to production.
• Manage supplier relationships and growth plans with QBRs.
• Identify gaps in the product portfolio and introduce new suppliers/technologies.
• Engage senior stakeholders across customers and suppliers and monitor market trends.
