Job summary

Janus Henderson Group is seeking a senior leader to own and evolve the AI Academy strategy and operating model, aligning capability-building with the firm’s AI transformation. You will drive curriculum, proficiency pathways and governance, while coaching a network of departmental champions and partnering with Technology and AI governance teams.

You will lead the central Academy team, champion adoption, and ensure evidence-based decisions shape the enterprise tools roadmap and guardrails for

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience across multiple business units.
• Strong practical understanding of AI and GenAI concepts.
• Hands-on familiarity with Copilot, M365, Copilot Studio and related tools.
• Experience designing and running training or capability-building programs at scale.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior audiences.
• Change-management and adoption experience.
• Strong measurement literacy and ability to build scorecards.
• Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong documentation instincts for reusable curriculum.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Academy strategy and operating model end-to-end.
• Evolve the operating model with decentralised ownership and central pathways.
• Move the programme from broad access to depth of use with role-based capability.
• Lead proficiency pathways and curriculum.
• Lead the Air Traffic Controller and Fighter Pilot networks.
• Own the AI Academy platform, content and community.
• Measure adoption and report progress to governance.
