Job summary

Skycare in Dartford invites an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead a housekeeping team in Darenth. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers £13.00 per hour and a chance to take ownership of standards across resident rooms, dining areas, and facilities.

You will recruit, mentor, and schedule staff, perform quality checks, and ensure infection control and health & safety compliance in a welcoming care home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in care, healthcare, hotel, or hospitality.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and people management skills.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver outstanding cleanliness.
• Ensure residents' bedrooms, communal areas, dining rooms, and facilities are maintained to high standards.

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Head Housekeeper to join our friendly care home team in Darenth, Dartford. What You'll Be Doing:
