Job summary

Skycare in Darenth, Dartford is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team in a nursing home. This full-time role offers £13.00 per hour for 40 hours per week and requires hands-on leadership to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role involves supervising staff, scheduling rotas, conducting audits, managing stock, and driving training while adhering to infection control, COSHH and health & safety standards. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience in care home, healthcare, hotel or hospitality.

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Head Housekeeper to join our friendly care home team in Darenth, Dartford. What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and motivating the housekeeping team to deliver outstanding standards of cleanliness
• Ensuring residents' bedrooms, communal areas, dining rooms, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards

What We're Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and people management skills
• Right to work in the UK, no need for sponsorship
