Job summary

Skycare is seeking a Head Housekeeper in Darenth, Dartford (DA2). The role leads the housekeeping team to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents, visitors and staff. It is a full-time, on-site position offering ongoing training and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will oversee rotas, perform quality checks, manage stock, and ensure infection control and COSHH compliance while fostering a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications

• Experience in a housekeeping role within care homes, healthcare, hotel or hospitality for at least one year.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good communication and people management abilities.
• Right to work in the UK, no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain residents' bedrooms, communal areas, dining rooms and facilities to the highest standards.
• Manage rotas and allocate daily tasks.
• Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and order cleaning supplies.

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Head Housekeeper to join our friendly care home team in Darenth, Dartford. What You'll Be Doing:
