Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead a busy housekeeping team at a cosy country pub with rooms in Northallerton. You’ll ensure spotless rooms, smooth operations, and high guest satisfaction while guiding staff with professionalism and care.

You’ll oversee cleaning, manage linen and supplies, and maintain safety standards, reporting to the General Manager. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example.
• Strong eye for detail and high housekeeping standards.
• Comfort with teamwork and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of rooms and public areas with professionalism.
• Manage linen, supplies and report maintenance promptly.
• Train new and current housekeeping staff.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness across areas.
• Provide regular updates to General Manager for smooth operations.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Head Housekeeper, you’ll bring your friendly, detail-oriented nature to the role, ensuring a spotless, welcoming environment. Calm under pressure, you’ll exceed guest expectations by reacting promptly to requests and maintaining high standards throughout.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you’ll guide with professionalism, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will include overseeing the cleaning of rooms and public areas, promptly reporting maintenance issues, managing linen and supplies, and training new and existing staff. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work closely with the team to create memorable visits, and provide regular updates to the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
