Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper at Ullswater Inn in the Lake District. You will lead a friendly housekeeping team, ensuring spotless rooms and public areas while delivering warm hospitality and proactive guest service.

You’ll train staff, manage linen and supplies, report maintenance needs, and work closely with the General Manager to uphold high standards and smooth daily operations.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Head Housekeeper, you’ll bring your friendly, detail-oriented nature to the role, ensuring a spotless, welcoming environment. Calm under pressure, you’ll exceed guest expectations by reacting promptly to requests and maintaining high standards throughout.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you’ll guide with professionalism, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will include overseeing the cleaning of rooms and public areas, promptly reporting maintenance issues, managing linen and supplies, and training new and existing staff. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work closely with the team to create memorable visits, and provide regular updates to the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
