You will manage staff, train, recruit, and report on weekly performance to the Operations Manager, while delivering cost control, health and safety compliance, and a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Housekeeper or similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with IT systems for scheduling, reporting and team management.
• Experience delivering training and maintaining health and safety standards.

A leading provider of outsourced housekeeping services to hotels across the UK is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to manage operations at a busy site in Chester on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the housekeeping function, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, team performance, and compliance with operational standards.

Role Overview

The Head Housekeeper is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the housekeeping department. This includes managing a team, ensuring quality and safety standards, delivering training, and achieving performance and budget targets.
