Professional Security is hiring a Head Door Supervisor for Oxford. You will lead the venue security team, maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests. Immediate start available and a competitive hourly rate.

The role requires leading door teams, managing entry points, performing ID checks, and coordinating with venue management to deliver excellent service on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality security or door supervision.
• Experience leading or supervising security teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead venue security teams during operations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Manage entry/exit points and admissions control.
• Conduct ID checks and searches per venue policy.
• Monitor capacity, behaviour and risks; assist crowd management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to on‑shift staff.
• Prepare incident reports and venue documentation.
• Ensure licensing conditions and policies are followed.
