Professional Security is seeking a Head Door Supervisor for Sunderland. You will lead security teams, set high standards for professionalism and safety, and act as the main liaison between management and front-line staff. Immediate start and competitive hourly rate offered.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within hospitality security or door supervision.
• Experience leading or supervising security teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport.
• Ability to pass BS7858 screening and vetting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and late-night shifts.
• Ability to provide a full 5-year employment and address history.

Responsibilities

• Lead Door Supervisor teams during venue operations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance and conduct.
• Manage entry and exit points safely and effectively.
• Conduct ID checks, searches and admissions control.
• Monitor venue capacity and customer behaviour.
• Support crowd management and customer engagement.
• Build relationships with venue managers and staff.
• Respond to incidents and challenging situations.
• Complete incident reports and venue documentation.
• Ensure licensing conditions and procedures are followed.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Door Supervisors on shift.
