Job summary

Professional Security is seeking an experienced Assistant Head Door Supervisor to lead venue security teams in Manchester. You will set the standard for professionalism, manage entry controls, monitor crowd safety and mentor shift staff to deliver a safe, welcoming experience.

This role requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, at least two years in hospitality security, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to pass BS7858 screening. Competitive hourly pay and weekly wages are offered.

Qualifications

• SIA licence valid
• Minimum 2 years’ hospitality security/door supervision experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport
• BS7858 screening and vetting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong leadership qualities and professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Door Supervisor teams during venue operations
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance and conduct
• Manage entry and exit points safely and effectively
• Conduct ID checks, searches and admissions control per venue policy
• Monitor venue capacity, behavior and risks
• Support crowd management and customer engagement
• Build relationships with venue managers and staff
• Respond to incidents and conflicts confidently
• Complete accurate incident reports and venue documentation
• Ensure licensing conditions and procedures are followed
• Provide leadership and mentoring to on-shift staff
