Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Will Do:

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, including health and safety, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver capable of making quick decisions.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
