Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop seasonal menus with input from residents, families, and the Home Manager, ensuring meals are suitable for diverse backgrounds, cultures, and dietary needs.
  2. Deliver excellence in meal times, dining experience, and presentation.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
  4. Manage food standards and monitor practices to high standards.
  5. Implement effective financial controls and adhere to budgets.
  6. Manage and develop the kitchen team, including supervision, appraisals, and inductions.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
