Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Head Chef for its Hospitality team to deliver hotel and restaurant standard meals without excessive shifts. You will create nutritious, flavoursome menus, liaise with residents, and lead a kitchen that meets high standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Secure understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements.
• Experience achieving food margins and costing menus.
• Leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work within the agreed company budget.
• Ensure all kitchen staff are trained on dish specification and budget control.
• Manage the stock in the kitchen.
• Inspire and motivate the team to meet dietary requirements and specifications.
• Lead by example and set pace and standards.
• Meet monthly with management to ensure dietary needs are met.
• Train and develop the team to deliver food to specification.
• Ensure food is cooked to safe temperatures and tested for taste.
• Ensure storage meets health and safety requirements.
• Deliver kitchen standards identified on audits.
• Implement Health and Safety policy and train staff.
