Job summary

Wildfire is a bold new concept centred around the art of live-fire cooking. We seek an ambitious Head Chef to lead our Manchester kitchen and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will ensure quality and consistency of every dish, oversee multi-section operations, mentor staff, manage budgets, and drive profitability. HACCP compliance and ongoing menu development are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage kitchen operations across sections.
• Ensure quality and consistency of dishes at all stages of production.
• Control costs, manage budgets and drive profitability.
• Maintain stock levels with timely stock takes and ordering.
• Adhere to HACCP and food safety standards; participate in menu development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and consistency of food during all stages of production.
• Fully responsible for overall operation, progress and timing of various kitchen sections.
• Use back-of-house systems, manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability.
• Ensure accurate stock takes, maintain stock levels, and optimise ordering.
• Be accountable for kitchen GP targets and staffing costs; participate in HACCP.
• Lead by example and provide knowledge and inspiration to kitchen staff.
