Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen in a pub environment. You will manage a motivated team, drive food quality, safety, and speed of service, and work as part of the pub management team to create memorable guest experiences.

You’ll need previous Head Chef or Kitchen Manager experience (or be ready to step up from Sous/Second Chef), with a passion for people development and delivering high standards across our pubs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Kitchen Manager or ready to step up from Sous/Second Chef
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure targets for quality, speed of service and safety are met
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and pub wider team
• Take pride in the meals produced and drive continuous improvement
