Loungers is hiring a hands-on Head Chef to lead Vallado Lounge's kitchen. You will build and coach a kitchen team, maintain high standards, and manage shifts end-to-end.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract with a 48-hour option and a competitive salary with bonus, overtime and progression opportunities. You'll work to deliver quality dishes, maintain food safety, and drive operational KPIs while fostering a one-team culture with FOH.

Formación

• Lead a kitchen team with clear development plans and feedback.
• Cook with fresh, high-quality ingredients and ensure menu specs are followed.
• Lead from the line and pass, coaching the team as service demands.
• Be commercially minded, monitor GP, Labour, stock, and wastage KPIs.
• Bring experience as Head Chef/Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef ready for step up.

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of the kitchen at Vallado Lounge and manage shifts from open to close.
• Recruit, develop and coach kitchen staff from KPs to Sous Chefs.
• Ensure every dish leaves the pass to spec and on time.
• Own a site-level action plan with GM covering wait times, standards, ordering, and stock.
• Deliver on KPIs like food quality, wait times, wastage and food safety.
