Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Head Chef to lead the Fosforo Lounge kitchen. This hands-on role focuses on building high-performing teams, maintaining food standards, and delivering a seamless dining experience across all shifts.

You will own the kitchen, recruit and develop chefs, ensure menu specs are followed, and drive performance against GP and service metrics. A clear path for progression is offered through in-house training and development programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef is essential.
• Proven ability to lead and develop kitchen teams.
• Strong understanding of GP, labor, stock and wastage KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Fosforo Lounge kitchen from open to close.
• Recruit, train and coach kitchen team at all levels.
• Ensure menu specs and kitchen processes are followed to a high standard.
• Develop and implement site-level action plans with the GM.
• Deliver KPIs for food quality, wait times, wastage and food safety.
• Create fair rotas aligned to sales and bookings.
