Loungers is hiring a full-time Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Bolero Lounge, a local café bar and part of Loungers. You will manage a hands-on kitchen, ensuring high standards and driving a one-team culture with front of house.

We offer a permanent full-time role with a 48-hour contract (40-hour option available), overtime pay, a bonus scheme, and in-house training for future progression. You also receive a 50% food and drink discount from day one and staff meals on shifts.

Formación

• Experience leading a kitchen as Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Proven ability to recruit and coach kitchen staff.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of the kitchen—from open to close—and ensure food standards never slip.
• Recruit, develop and coach your kitchen team.
• Know menu specs and processes inside out, spotting issues before they happen.
• Own a site-level action plan with the GM covering wait times, standards, ordering, stock and cleaning.
• Deliver on KPIs such as food quality, wait times, wastage and GP.
• Schedule fair rotas aligned with sales and bookings and work closely with front of house to foster a one-team culture.
