Job summary

Bath Brew House in Bath is seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen, deliver crowd‑pleasing food and fuse pub classics with our on‑site brewery's beers. You’ll own prep, service and close, mentor a busy team, drive menus, manage GP and stock, uphold food safety and allergen procedures, and work with the General Manager to grow our food reputation and sales.

Qualifications

• Experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous ready to step up.
• Thrives in a busy kitchen and stays organised under pressure.
• Leads by example and takes pride in the details.
• Enjoys training people and building their confidence.
• Understands the numbers behind a successful kitchen.
• Takes ownership and follows through.
• Brings ideas, energy and a genuine love of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Leading, training and developing a happy, motivated kitchen team
• Being actively involved in cooking, cleaning and checking standards
• Delivering consistently great food during busy services
• Managing GP, ordering, stock rotation and waste
• Maintaining food safety, allergen, labelling and cleaning procedures
• Planning prep and staffing so the team is ready for service
• Managing our main kitchen and garden burger shack
• Working closely with the General Manager to grow our food reputation and sales
