Job summary

Bath Brew House in Bath is seeking a talented Sous Chef to be the Head Chef’s right hand and lead the kitchen day-to-day. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently great food, develop the team and help shape an offer that matches the pub’s lively energy.

You’ll thrive in a busy pub kitchen, bringing creativity to specials and menu development, while maintaining food safety, cleanliness and strong GP control.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy pub kitchen.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of GP, stock and kitchen controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently brilliant food during busy services.
• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Support with ordering, stock control and GP management.
• Bring ideas to specials and menu development.
• Maintain standards across main kitchen and burger shack.
• Step in to run the kitchen when the Head Chef isn't present.
• Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
