Job summary

Bath Brew House is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team and help take our food offer to the next level. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently great food, develop the team and shape dishes that match our pub personality and on-site brewery.

This is a busy, high-energy pub kitchen where leadership, freshness and great food matter. You’ll manage GP, stock and events, mentor junior staff and take ownership of menus and specials.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy pub/kitchen environment.
• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of GP, stock control and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently brilliant food during busy services.
• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Assist with ordering, stock control and GP management.
• Contribute ideas to specials and menu development.
• Step up to run the kitchen when the Head Chef is away.
